Kellie Greenwald is a talented young woman whose art pulsates with energy and love. Her remarkable abilities and joyous celebration of life are an inspiration to all who know her, and Kellie is a perfect example of how much can be accomplished by a person born with Down syndrome.

Enthusiasm, tenacity, and sincerity flood each moment of Kellie Greenwald's life, and they unmistakedly shine through in Kellie's Book.

Kellie Greenwald's inspiring autobiography is written with straight forward sincerity. She invites readers of all ages and interests to celebrate life with her as she chronicles events and emotions that each of us may experience. Getting to know Kellie is to understand that the face of Down syndrome is another precious face of humanity ? different, and yet the same.

Using a vibrant, bold palette, Kellie's illustrations are as appealing and inviting as Kellie herself. Her drawings express the sparkling vitality of her personality as they graphically complement her text. Kellie is a true colorist. With an innate sense of composition she renders her drawings with elegant simplicity.

Kellie loves introducing herself to us and, as we read the last page, we feel as if we've been given a great big literary hug that is straight from her heart.

Kellie's Book is a source of hope for people with developmental challenges, their families, extended families, providers, and educators. It is a testament to the fact that when children know they are utterly loved and supported, there is no end to what they can achieve and no end to what they give back by uplifting the lives of those around them.

It's great fun to discover a taste sensation that makes you say "Wow! This is fantastic!" and that sensation is readily available to you and your friends when you successfully pair wines and cheeses.

With more than a thousand wines and a thousand cheeses in the world today, the number of combinations is mind-boggling ... literally, over a million potential combinations. But, what an excellent opportunity for you to enjoy the pleasure of searching for specific combinations of wines and cheeses that give you the "Wow!" experience.

In the Wine & Cheese Pairing Guide the authors give you a running start to find your "Wow!" combinations. They give you helpful information about cheeses, wines, and pairing. They offer pairing recommendations developed through personal experience, tasting events with other people, recommendations by wine experts, recommendations by cheese experts, and various analytical pairings. Of course, the ultimate judge of your "Wow!" combinations is you. Your unique set of taste buds and olfactory nerve cells will identify your exciting and perfect pairings.

Considering over 150 different wines and 340 different cheeses, the authors present extensive recommendations in two formats: (1) Cheese & Wine Pairing Recommendations (you select a cheese and receive recommendations of wines that pair well with that cheese) and (2) Wine & Cheese Pairing Recommendations (you select a wine and receive recommendations of cheeses that pair well with that wine).

Since a step in your quest for perfect pairings is to remember your personal tasting experiences, the Wine & Cheese Pairing Guide also includes two programmed journals for you to record specifics of outstanding combinations: (1) "My Favorite Pairings" Journal and (2) "Oops!... I Won't Pair These Again" Journal.

Why are coders important? In layman's language, each health care treatment involves 1) a diagnosis of the patient's problem and 2) a treatment to try to remedy the problem. To arrive at a diagnosis, such things as lab tests, scans, and x-rays are necessary. Treatment involves hospitalization, doctor visits, prescription drugs, surgery, therapy or other options. In order to accurately pay doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, labs, ambulance companies and the myriad other health care providers (and to track diagnoses and treatments for national and international health care statistical databases), it is necessary for each element of the diagnosis and each part of the treatment to be assigned a specific multi-digit code chosen from an extensive system of codes standardized by the health care industry. The person selecting the code for each step is the "coder," whose accuracy, conscientiousness and ethics are crucial to proper payment by private and government insurers.
