FULFILLMENT SERVICES
1) Warehousing:
Receive, store, track & report on inventory. Report inventory status to publisher monthly.
(2) Order receiving & processing:
24-hour, 800# telephone order-receiving availability where publisher's customers can use Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express to pay for purchases. Sales report to publisher monthly. Inquiries forwarded for publisher follow-up as needed. Also, 24-hour fax available for (1) publisher to transmit shipping orders to Rayve's warehouse & (2) publisher's customers to place credit card orders.
(3) Fulfillment:
Pull stock, pack & ship. (For orders taken by publisher, publisher supplies completed sales order/packing list which contains shipping label). Fulfillment includes free insertion of publisher's fliers/catalogs.
(4) Returns & credits:
Receive & inspect returned inventory. Issue credits to credit card customers. Monthly report to publisher.
OTHER
+ The above services are available for products approved by Rayve Fulfillment product review committee.
+ Publisher provides own insurance or self-insures its inventory stored in warehouse. Insurance is available through Rayve's insurance policy at $18/year/$1000 of coverage, billed monthly.
+ Publisher is responsible for taxes, if any, related to storage of its inventory in warehouse.
+ Publisher is responsible for cost of incoming phone calls from outside the United States.
Note: Payment of balances due to Rayve are to be paid by the 25th day of the month following each fulfillment month. If payment is not received by the 30th, fulfillment shipments will be suspended until payment is received. If payment is postmarked after the 30th, there is a $25 late payment fee.
FEES
Set-up:
New account: $200

Warehousing:
Receive inventory: Each pallet in an inbound shipment: $30. Each receipt of inbound inventory in quantity less than pallet: $10.
Storage: $27 per month per pallet ($2 per day per pallet up to the $27 max). A pallet is generally ten to forty cases, depending on size of book and case.
Shelf space for less than 100 books in our warehouse is $21 per month.
Order receiving & processing:
$1.75 per order + 5.5% of total invoice amount.
(Rayve purchases books from publisher as ordered by customers and resells them to customers).

Full case of one title...$4.00
Pallet...$30
Domestic shipment of less than full case of one title...$2.00 for first book; $.50 for each additional book in same package.
International shipment of less than full case of one title...$4.00 for first book; $.50 for each additional book in same package.
Shipping mailer/package: For less-than-full-case shipments.
Bubble envelope: small $.40 medium $.60 large $.80
Box: small $.80 medium $1.00 large $1.20
Tube: $3.00
Bubblewrap or other packing material: $.40
Full case shipments have no mailer/package fee.
Returns & credits:
Full case of one title...$4.00. Less than full case...$2.00 for first book; $.50 for each additional book in same package.
Undeliverable shipments requiring special handling upon return to Rayve...$5.00.
Inquiries:
Such as non-purchase inquiries, messages taken and forwarded, declined credit cards, catalog requests...$1.75 minimum each.
Postage & freight:
Publisher pays all freight or postage charges for shipping/receiving inventory, including any "lost in mail" replacements. Publisher reimburses Rayve for expense of USPS postage. For shipments via UPS, Publisher reimburses Rayve for carrier's actual published rate plus $3. For Fedex Air shipments Rayve's service charge is $5 which Rayve collects from your credit card customer by increasing the shipping charge by that amount.
Other special handling:
For orders that require product mailed to one location and the invoice mailed to another location...$1.75.

Priority mail shipment of a single medium size book to a California customer. Publisher's book has retail price of $29.95 + $6.00 shipping charge for priority mail delivery.
